Once applied and left to dry, it creates a dry anti-friction graphite coating that doesn't attract dust, dirt, mud, or grit, unlike other types of greases and oils. It has a complete dry time of 8 hours at 70°F (21.1°C) and a tack-free dry time of 60-90 minutes at 70°F (21.1°C). It is a naturally hydrophobic concoction that provides lasting protection for the object against rain, snow, and mud in order to help prevent corrosion or rust from forming.
